July and August

Wow! I am on a roll!!! 2 post in one day!!!
In July I had the fabulous opportunity of going to girls camp. It was so much fun and I hope I get to go again next year. We had a ward camp this year and went to Flaming Gorge where we went tubing, river rafting and fly fishing. I think my ward has the best young women and leaders in the entire world!!

Maggie started swimming lesson the next week. She was so worried about having a boy swimming teacher. I didn't think she was going to get in the water. Then she met Riley and she fell in love! This poor little girl has quite a crush!

The day after we were done with Maggie's swimming lessons we made an unexpected trip to Michigan. I took my aunt Leslie's van out for my cousin Bonnie who is living in Detroit while her husband does his residency. That was another fun adventure. I drove out last year and so I wasn't too worried about it. The kids do really well when we travel. We just had to make MANY stops along the way because this year Maggie was potty trained and we had our puppy Millie with us. Unfortunately I don't have too many pictures of this trip because my camera battery died. I will have to get more pictures from my mom. It was fun to visit with Bonnie and her cute little boys. While we were in Michigan we went to Bronner's. It is the largest Christmas store in the whole world. It is the size of football fields. I loved it!! So did the kids!

We also went to Holland. Michigan that is. They have a cute little Dutch village there where grandma bought all the kids cute little wooden shoes and learned how they make them. Morgan learned a Dutch dance. This is where my camera died. I only have 1 picture here. I will have to get more pictures from my mom. Her camera was working and she took tons of pictures.

Suprise!!!!!

Can you believe it? I am actually blogging again! I know, don't be too shocked!! So now I get to catch everyone up with everything that has happened since the first part of June. Be ready for quite a long post, or serveral posts, depending on how this all plays out!

Okay, lets start with June. Normally I take my kids down the street for swimming lessons. This year Morgan's 3rd grade teacher was teaching swimming lesson and Morgan really wanted to take from her. I was able to get Mike, Morgan & Josh in all at the same time, but she didn't teach tiny kids, so Maggie went to the neighbors a few weeks later.
I'm not quite sure why Morgan's picture is sideways. It isn't like this when saved on my computer, but for some reason it goes sideways when I upload it onto Blogger. You will just have to tilt your head!

On June 27th Nelson and I celebrated our 12th anniversary. I don't feel that old, but I guess I have to be considering the fact that I have an 11-year-old son. We were able to sneek away for a day and stayed in Midway at the Homestead. I didn't want to come home. It was so relaxing and quiet! I think we need more getaways!

I am so lucky to be married to my best friend!

I was watching the news one morning and they mentioned that the Provo airport was having an open house and it was free. We were in great need of a distraction and so I loaded the kids up in the car and off we went on a grand adventure! They had all kinds of airplanes on display, they were able to get inside a few of them, and they were able to take a tour of the airport control tower. It was really cool!
